Home

Today, I crossed a bridge to,

What was once a forbidden place,

A place less a destiny,

Than ethereal embrace,

And as I stepped warily,

My first tread toward this,

This thing, this feeling,

This breathlessness,

I felt this light,

Like the sun,

Its warmth, its, caress,

Its assuring touch,

And realized where this,

Non-place exists,

In your heart,

In your tether,

Deep in the timelessness

Of your kiss.

The farthest reaches,

Gone from time,

Recesses deep, hidden,

Behind eyes purblind,

To things of this world,

That we toil about,

To lesser cares,

To pain-laden doubts,

We need not run,

As we are forever safe,

In the arms of our kismet,

Promised,

Now granted,

Eternal mate.

And I feel your laughter,

Roll through my bones,

The resonating whisper,

Receiving me home.

I am nearer now,

And I sense your touch,

It seems a lifetime,

Have I longed to lay myself,

Naked at your knee,

And fill your lap with the need,

Of my cheek.

I am at rest here,

In this place that you’ve made,

This home that you open,

In this peace you create.

And I realized my place,

Was never away from you,

But in your bosom,

Where love is truth.

And we venture further,

Away from the other side,

Distanced from all those places,

Where pain resides.

And our hearts soar,

At a sprinters pace,

Higher,

Further, into this safe,

Hidden,

Protected place.

And we love.
