Love Juxtaposed

Tranquil, pervasive, inviting,

Deeply brown,

Passage to an inner world,

A universe forbidden, but to one,

Availing offerings unfurled,

With discriminatory preference,

To my sole and only favor.

Your eyes, my dream,

Reveal to me the wonders,

Of heaven.

My pearls, powers, body, mind,

Belongings unshared with any in my ever,

Cached, cultivated, curated over time,

Grown and jealously protected,

To be bestowed uniquely,

Upon the one with keys to my evermore,

To the predestined and bound, love of my life,

Ethereally contemplated,

Chosen and decided mine,

Resolutely fated,

Traded in kind,

For your forever.

Soft, warm, liquid,

Formed in a dream,

Forged in perfection,

Placed at a stance,

That when slowly lifted,

Elevates my pulse,

And quickens the race,

Of my heart as it runs,

In anticipation of the tender embrace,

That awaits, my lips,

Against yours, daring to resist,

Closed eyes, but the bliss,

Won’t allow me to look,

Lest reality ruin the eternal bliss,

Given in a moment long kiss.

Soft, yet strong, gentle, upon me,

The perfect grasp at the nape of me,

Pulling me gently, but fully,

Into your world,

Necessary, healing, oneness,

Permission, conceded,

But adroitly taken,

Strength, gently intimated,

Possession,

Spoken in a grasp that fits,

And heats like fire,

In the palm of my hand,

And I stand in pride,

A pillar stronger,

When in your grasp.

Taken.

My arms, opened only,

To close around you,

Fully engulfing, owning, protecting,

Intensified by your being,

Knowingly in the hold of passions unknown,

Blindly following breaths and beats,

In deep tones that promise,

Safe harbor,

Even home,

And I hold for fear of the fleeting,

Relinquishing upon the onset of never,

Warmed to the depths of me,

By your rest in me.
