In the song Feeling Good there’s

a lyric that says, “Birds flying high,

you know how I feel.” and upon first

hearing it I wondered if Nina was describing

the feeling or if she was speaking

to the bird.

“Sun in the sky, you know how I feel.”

Is she speaking to me, or

to the breeze when she

mentions these.

Now, I realize that it doesn’t matter,

because I feel it, too.
