The Way You Say My Name
Lava waterfalls of the nectar that once satisfied,
The lusts of fabled gods,
Run through my veins when you utter your way,
Through loved upon syllables of my name,
Desires done under breath through tantric pants,
Leading glazed eyes,
While forming sensual rings of powdered sugar ohs,
That boast solemn oaths of eternally intended pledges,
Promises spoken in dark recesses with overtures of,
Caresses that mend the brokenness of self-inflicted ages,
And when you sigh that peaceful exhale that covers,
My skin in brailed memories of your completeness,
I expand and draw images of a forever that mimics,
Scenes that weave stories that dreams forage for,
Between fallen leaves of trees that blind the world,
To a paradise that only the two of us observe,
And in this ambrosia decided a thousand lifetimes ago,
deep within made-up wishes that by most go,
Misunderstood, yet, I know,
That within this breathe I am consumed.
